The newly expanded RPL Practitioner Network Ireland Steering Group held its’ inaugural meeting in Dublin on 16 June 2023. Following a national call existing members of the Steering Group have now been joined by additional colleagues and practitioners.
Our membership includes public and privately funded practitioners from further, higher and community education and training settings, voluntary sectors, civil society, trade union and partnership groups. Recruitment and employer groups, policy leads, and representative bodies also participate.
The network is unique, enabling diverse practitioners to work as a community of practice to consider RPL nationally and internationally, and inform practice and policy leading to greater awareness across FET and Higher Education sectors.
The RPL Practitioner Network Ireland also contributes to professional development opportunities for RPL practitioners and organises cross-sectoral RPL PD initiatives and events nationally.
We are eager to include all RPL practitioners in our discussions and activities. Follow us on X, formerly Twitter, @rpl_network. We also now have a presence on LinkedIn, the RPL PN LinkedIn page where we will be uploading relevant happenings and news and the RPL PN LinkedIn Group which you can apply to join, and where we hope discussions on RPL will continue. Please use your LinkedIn profile and follow us to join in the discussions and to be informed of all RPL PN activities.
