Carlow Institute of Technology on behalf of the Higher Education Authority (HEA), The Impact of RPL Policy on Practice in Higher Education

Topic: David rapidly outlines the development of national RPL policy in publicly funded higher education against practice and implementation over a seven-year period. He illustrates the power of RPL to engage and impact deeply where traditionally participation in HE is low, linking policy to practice; linking diverse strategies, sectors and agencies with new funding opportunities specifically oriented to mainstream RPL, David identifies challenges for Higher Education Institutions as they embrace leading and learning through policy and practice.
